We have an immediate opportunity for a Process Technician to join us at our diverse team. The Process Technician will be responsible for the assembly process in an assembly cell from set-up to testing.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

Monitors & trouble shoots electrical & mechanical equipment used in the assembly process to build hydrostatic pumps, motors and components

Provide line support for the assembly cell and is the next level of escalation after the cell expert for manufacturing issues related to safety and process quality

Assist in the daily activities of implementing process changes and problem solving on the shop floor

Assists in the prove-out of new processes and process changes by gathering data, making observations about the process, and communicating ideas to improve results

Works closely with the Process Engineer

Minimum of an AA degree or equivalent from Technical School and 6 months related experience on Danfoss products

Desire for 4-year degree in Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mfg. Engineering or ME/AgE

Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes

Working knowledge of quality/problem solving tools (PPAP, Capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, Fishbone)

Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand)

Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics

Familiarity with TPM and SMED techniques

Customer Service mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure are necessary traits

Outstanding safety record and approach to behavioral based safety using proper PPE are requirements
