External Job Description: Sr. Financial Analyst - Norcross
Prepare financial and business related analyses and research for Corporate functions. Assist the Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) department with consolidated Corporate functional and consolidated Company reporting and analysis.
Reports To: VP - Corporate FPA
Peers: Senior Financial Analysts
Primary Working Relationships: Corporate Functional Leaders and their FPA resources/liaisons, Corporate Finance, Group Finance
Direct Reports: N/A
Under minimal supervision
Review and evaluate monthly reported and forecasted results and provide explanations for significant variances.
Prepare and analyze month-end and quarter-end management reporting.
Prepare annual plan for assigned Corporate functions. Serve as a key liaison with assigned Corporate functions.
Prepare reporting and complete analysis of consolidated Corporate functional results. Assist with reporting of consolidated Company forecasts and plan.
Create C-level presentations to communicate financial and operational results.
Collaborate with Corporate Accounting and ensure compliance with GAAP and Corporate Finance policies.
Prepare ad hoc analyses appropriate for all levels of the organization.
Conduct special projects to improve reporting and analysis, develop best practices and support Company initiatives; establish and implement new procedures to address areas requiring improvement.

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Finance or Accounting, or MBA with finance or accounting focus.
Job Related Experience:
Minimum of 5 years business related experience.
Must be able to make decisions based on precedent and solve arising problems using sound professional judgment, experience, and conducting research.
Larger company experience preferred.
Detail oriented with the ability to prepare reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Continuous process improvement/incremental change.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and capability to professionally challenge presented information.
Intermediate to advanced skill level on PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
SAP (or comparable ERP system) experience.
High level of Professional mannerism required due to Executive level exposure.
Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques and GAAP.
Excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team member with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to effectively share knowledge with other team members.
Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
