CNC Programmer (Esprit Edge / Esprit 20xx / Mastercam)

Brea, CA

Shift: First Shift

Pay Rate: $32.00 – $50.00/hr DOE *Get Paid Weekly!

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced CNC Programmer to join our precision machining team in Brea, CA. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on programming experience using Esprit (Edge or 20xx) or Mastercam, and be skilled in multi-axis CNC programming in a high-mix/low-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Program for:

3-axis and 2-axis mills

Lathes with live tooling (C & Y axis)

4-axis horizontal machines

5-axis (3+2) machines

Select appropriate tools (size and grade) based on material and part requirements

Calculate optimal feeds and speeds based on manufacturer specs

Write and edit G-code (Fanuc Macro B knowledge a plus)

Work with castings and non-billet parts

Handle a wide range of materials including:

Aluminum

Various steels

Stainless steel

Qualifications:

10+ years prefered of CNC programming experience with Mastercam or Esprit

Deep understanding of cutting tool technology and application

Proven ability to work on high-mix/low-volume production jobs

Experience working with diverse materials and challenging part geometries

Strong knowledge of G-code programming and optimization
