What You’ll Do
Lead, train, and supervise Quality Control Technicians
Implement and communicate quality and food safety programs
Investigate non-conformities, take corrective actions, and verify results
Recommend new quality policies and procedures for continuous improvement
Coordinate training for operations, maintenance, and receiving teams
Maintain excellent communication with QA, Operations, and USDA staff
Ensure USDA regulations and company quality programs meet or exceed requirements
Perform other duties as assigned to support plant success
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field
Experience: Minimum 2 years in food safety, regulatory, or quality in a food-manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of food safety principles, FDA/USDA regulations, GMP
Understanding of food production cleaning and sanitation practices
Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Effective communication and leadership ability
Proficiency in MS Office
Experience with USDA/FDA inspections is a plus

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
