GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Their roles and responsibilities include designing and deploying Azure infrastructure, implementing security controls, optimizing Azure performance, troubleshooting issues, managing Azure resources, automating Azure deployments, collaborating with other teams

OBJECTIVE

Design, project lead and implement cloud-based solutions that improve performance, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and deploy Azure infrastructure: Azure cloud engineers are responsible for designing and deploying the Azure infrastructure that meets the organization's needs. This involves creating virtual machines, configuring storage solutions, setting up virtual networks, and designing backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Implement security controls: Azure cloud engineers are responsible for implementing security controls to ensure the Azure environment is secure. This includes configuring firewalls, setting up network security groups, configuring access control policies, and managing encryption keys.

Optimize Azure performance: Azure cloud engineers are responsible for optimizing the performance of the Azure environment. This includes monitoring resource usage, optimizing storage solutions, and configuring load balancing and autoscaling solutions.

Troubleshoot Azure issues: Azure cloud engineers are responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise in the Azure environment. This involves identifying the root cause of the issue, implementing a solution, and documenting the resolution.

Manage Azure resources: Azure cloud engineers are responsible for managing Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and other Azure services. This involves monitoring resource usage, configuring access controls, and managing costs.

Automate Azure deployments: Azure cloud engineers are responsible for automating Azure deployments to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors. This involves using tools such as Azure Resource Manager templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI to automate deployment tasks.

Collaborate with other teams: Azure cloud engineers collaborate with other teams, such as developers and operations teams, to ensure the Azure environment meets the organization's needs. This involves understanding the requirements of other teams and working together to design and implement solutions that meet those requirements.

Assisting with Level 2 / and Manage Project Tickets

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education: BS

Experience: 3 years

Required Certification: AZ-104 Certification

Authorized to work in the United States

Fluent English

Ability to relocate to be within reasonable commuting distance to Memphis, TN 38125

SALARY GUIDELINES

$85,000-$90,000 DOQ

KEY COMPETENCIES

Work with technical teams to identify and implement cloud solutions.

Troubleshoot and solve issues with cloud-based processes.

Migrate existing system data to cloud-based applications.
