What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, and in-hospital follow-up for heart failure patients
Patient populations include VV/VA ECMO, Mechanical Circulatory Support, Heart Transplant, Lung Transplant, LVAD, Post-op Cardiac Surgery
Perform procedures: A-lines, central lines, intubations, chest tube removal, etc.
Collaborate closely with cardiologists and ICU teams
Provide night shift coverage with in-hospital follow-up and care management
About You
Be able to do the job as described
MSN, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - AGACNP/ACNP required; licensed in Texas
2–3 years of ICU RN or NP experience required
Experience with heart failure, fresh transplants, and mechanical circulatory support preferred
ACLS required; ATLS within 6 months if working in trauma
