Inventory Specialists/Officers PMT Officer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer / PMT Officer to join our healthcare team in Ajah, Lagos. This role will manage the procurement of goods and services while supporting project management tasks that drive operational efficiency across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire procurement cycle—from supplier sourcing and evaluation to contract negotiation, purchase order creation, and delivery tracking.

Maintain up-to-date records of vendors, pricing, and supplier performance.

Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, define procurement plans, and manage budgets.

Ensure the timely acquisition of medical and non-medical supplies in line with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Support the Project Management Team (PMT) by tracking project progress, coordinating deliverables, and maintaining documentation.

Implement procurement best practices and risk mitigation strategies to improve value and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies and internal controls.

Prepare and submit regular reports on procurement performance and project milestones.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, procurement tools, and basic project management platforms.

Excellent communication, documentation, and multitasking skills.

Strong ethical standards and attention to detail.
