Validation of targets involved in nociception and inflammation

CENTD, a multidisciplinary center studying molecular targets of inflammatory diseases, is offering a postdoctoral position for 12 months. The project aims to identify and validate new pharmacological targets through the investigation of anti-inflammatory peptides derived from animal venoms. The activities involve exploring the biology of the peptides and their in vitro

effects on cellular models of inflammation and nociception. Candidates must have obtained their doctorate degree within the last seven years and have solid experience in molecular biology, including gene editing by CRISPR/Cas9, and cell biology, especially with neurons.

The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Postdoctoral Scholarship of R$ 12,000.00 per month, along with a Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual scholarship value to cover unforeseen research-related expenses.
