NATIONWIDE SEARCH: CAPE COD, MA- A warm and welcoming family in Chatham is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their four children, ages 5, 11, 14, and 16. This unique position runs from September 1, 2025 to June 12, 2026, and resumes again from September 1, 2026 to June 11, 2027, with summer 2026 off (partial pay provided), 2–3 weeks off for winter break each December, and all U.S. holidays paid. The family offers a competitive hourly rate of $35–$40/hour, along with a private, furnished 2-bedroom apartment in Harwichport (about 20 minutes from the family home), and full use of a vehicle on and off duty. The home is within walking distance to the beach and just two miles from downtown Chatham.
They are looking for a kind, confident, and engaging nanny who thrives in the joyful, controlled chaos of a large family and genuinely enjoys spending time with children. The ideal candidate will be someone who can dive into imaginative play and arts and crafts with their curious and active 5-year-old daughter, while also remaining a steady, supportive presence for the older siblings—helping with transportation, homework, and general supervision. Responsibilities include planning and preparing meals, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping (a housekeeper comes three times per week).
The family is seeking someone energetic, creative, and warm, with confidence in supporting both pre-teens/teens and young children. Strong communication, reliability, and a nurturing presence are key. A valid driver’s license is required, as is comfort with occasional travel and overnight care when the parents are away.
