IT Systems & Data Manager
SeaView Community Services – Seward, Alaska

Are you ready to lead technology and data systems that directly support behavioral health services in a mission-driven organization? SeaView Community Services is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Systems & Data Manager to oversee our agency’s technology infrastructure, data security, and HIPAA/privacy compliance. This role is essential to ensuring technology effectively supports client care, telehealth, and electronic health records across our comprehensive behavioral health programs.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the IT Systems & Data Manager also serves as SeaView’s Security Officer, playing a key role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client and organizational data.Key Responsibilities:
Technology Leadership & Systems Oversight
Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the needs of a behavioral health organization.
Manage IT infrastructure, cloud-based systems, and support platforms for EHRs and telehealth.
Coordinate IT projects, vendor relations, and system upgrades.
Supervise IT Help Desk tickets, ensuring staff feel supported and informed.
Data Privacy & Compliance
Act as the Security Officer, ensuring HIPAA/HITECH and privacy compliance.
Manage SeaView’s HIPAA Compliance platform and deliver organization-wide privacy training.
Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits.
User Support & Training
Train new staff on EHR and technology use; offer 1:1 computer literacy training.
Lead training for other initiatives.
Data Management & Reporting
Oversee secure data collection, storage, and reporting for grants and state requirements.
Create dashboards and visual reports on service utilization and client outcomes.
Assist leadership with data-driven decision-making.What We’re Looking For:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience:
2+ years of IT management, system administration, or healthcare data experience.
Preferred: Background in behavioral health, EHR systems, HIPAA compliance, or cybersecurity.
Skills & Competencies:
Expertise in data visualization, cybersecurity protocols, and system administration.
Strong communication skills with a commitment to educating and supporting users.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Other Requirements:
