The Clinical Manager Allergy manages the clinical operations for Allergy, Shot Room and Mixing through supervision of the clinical staff and ensures that the needs of the clinic physicians and patients are met. Responsible for development of their teams, performance management and fostering a culture of teamwork and appreciation. Management of multiple office locations with expectation of regular on-site presence. We are hiring (2) Clinical Manager roles within the Allergy division as they are a newly introduced to the staffing structure.
Essential Functions:
Maintains the coverage calendar for Allergy, Shot Room and Mixing staff. Manage changes in staff coverage due to clinic add-ons, on-call needs, and employee call-offs &/or request offs.
Oversees Time & Labor of clinic staff to include daily timeclock changes/additions, approval time off requests, overtime and flex submissions. Time card review and approvals for Allergy staff. Document and coach staff attendance concerns.
Responsible for compliance with regulatory requirements to ensure a safe and effective operation of clinic at all times.
Oversees OSHA requirements, reporting and education that pertains to Allergy clinic processes.
Performance management of Allergy staff to include coaching/counseling 1-1s, annual performance evaluations and staff development.
Develop and execute staffing development plans to maintain necessary headcount to support the operation of the clinics. Support recruitment, onboarding and development of clinical staff to achieve efficiency, provide excellent patient care and ensure team member satisfaction.
Coordinate consistent monthly employee meetings, annual performance reviews and new hire check-ins to foster feedback and open communication with clinical staff.
Responsible for efficient clinic operations and will resolve issues and continuously optimize processes.
Maintains training and certification requirements for Allergy staff n First Health Compliance.
Works collaboratively with Human Resources, Scheduling, Front Office and Billing staff as needed.
Actively participate in clinic operations; assist with high-volume clinics or absences as needed.
Meet with assigned Physicians, answer questions, share information and problem solve together.

Requirements
(Internal) Qualified applicant should have at least 1-3 years tenure with OENTA.’ Supervisor &/or management experience in the medical field is desired but not required.
(External) Qualified applicant should have at least 1-3 years supervisor &/or management experience in the medical field.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Knowledge of AthenaHealth (formerly GE-Centricity) practice management software, timekeeping software and EHR packages.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required.
Ability to create spreadsheets and tables in Microsoft Excel
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Physicians and all co-workers.
Must be well organized and detail oriented.
