We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Food Production Supervisor – Processing & Packaging for one of our valued clients in the food manufacturing sector. Position Summary

The Food Production Supervisor will manage daily production activities within a food processing and packaging facility, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong operational knowledge and a passion for developing teams and improving processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee daily production operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance

Achieve production targets while upholding strict safety, quality, and efficiency standards

Supervise and mentor production operators and technicians to ensure high performance

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement

Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Collaborate with senior leadership on operational planning and support process improvement initiatives

Identify and implement productivity enhancements and cost reduction strategies

Assist in managing vendor and supplier relationships as needed

Develop and maintain effective training programs to support staff growth and development

Qualifications

5–7 years of supervisory or operations management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food, bakery, or meat processing

Strong leadership, organizational, and team-building skills

In-depth understanding of production processes, safety regulations, and quality assurance systems

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies

Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Post-secondary education in Operations Management, Engineering, or related fields is an asset
