Main Tasks:
- You collaborate effectively with the global team and international stakeholders to develop and implement procurement strategies for assigned categories.
- You own category strategy development, including supplier segmentation, budgeting, forecasting, and business case creation, focusing on supply security and cost competitiveness.
- You conduct market analysis, supplier evaluation, and monitor trends to identify opportunities in coatings.
- With an entrepreneurial mindset you use data analysis to spot key market trends and innovations, e.g., digitalization, sustainability, and technical developments.
- Moreover, you lead the strategy implementation including market intelligence, demand analysis, negotiation targets, and supplier management.
- You regularly coordinate with Negotiators and General Buyers on negotiation strategies and execution as well as maintain ongoing exchange with Technical Managers on supplier development and category strategy.
- You continuously enhance expertise through research, training, and conference participation
- Market know how for Indirect categories and/or logistics
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills that enable to quickly familiarize with complex and demanding environments
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Entrepreneurial drive and creative and effective problem-solving abilities

- Very good communication skills and fluent language skills in English (in some cases country language necessary)
