Full Time Project Engineer

SALARY $ 90,000+ Superannuation

DUTIES

• Review blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for municipal projects.

• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations for new developments.

• Assist in designing construction works

• Monitor and inspection of constructions sites to ensure compliance with design standards and safety regulations.

• Inspect materials, subcontractor, and structural integrity of all structures on all ongoing projects.

• Liaise with sub-contractors, surveyors, and designers to resolve on-site issues.

• Assess of defects and recommend repairs for the infrastructure.

• Ensure safety and compliance.

• procurement of minor and major work packages.

• Preparation of ITPs and maintaining QA for all the aspects of the entire project including – Soft landscaping, Hard landscaping, Unitilities, Underground services, Pavements, Earthworks, Asphalt, Pile footings, Stormwater, watermain, Incidental works, Kerb and drains, Footpath and drive ways, street furniture, Streetlights, Traffic signal

• Managing RFIs, Variations, EOTs/NODs, Contract Administration.

• Manage budgets, daily productivity, timelines, and resources for projects.

• Prepare progress reports, cost estimates, and bid documents.

• Use CAD software (AutoCAD) and GIS tools for project planning and to adjusting the changes made during the project.

• Engage with residents, businesses, and stakeholders to address community concerns.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent

• 1 year experience in relevant field as Engineer
