Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Staffing Coordinator to join our team. This key role ensures efficient and effective staffing coverage across our nursing and mental health support teams in both acute and residential care programs. The Staffing Coordinator plays a critical role in workforce planning, real-time schedule adjustments, and maintaining compliance with staffing policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage staffing templates and schedules for nursing and support personnel
Monitor unit census and acuity levels to adjust staffing in real-time
Collaborate with leadership to ensure staffing meets operational needs and policy standards
Approve leave requests and ensure safe staffing based on set matrices
Maintain accurate records of time off, attendance, and staffing levels
Compile and interpret staffing data for leadership reports
Support orientation and training scheduling for new employees
Participate in staffing meetings and contribute to process improvements

Education, Training and Experience
Education: High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in a relevant field preferred.
