CNC Programmer

Our client, a precision sheet metal fabricator, has an immediate need for an experienced CNC Programmer, to join their winning team in East Windsor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrate proficiency with MasterCAM and/or NX Experience in using MasterCAM and Solid Works is desired Ability to read engineering prints and design documentation, including the ability to understand GD&T Develop work-holding fixtures and select cutting tools Must have ability to adjust speeds, feeds, tooling and operating sequences as needed and analyze G code Specify perishable tooling and capable fixturing while applying continuous improvements to the manufacturing process.

Must have advanced knowledge of metal cutting as well as the ability to select and recommend test tooling.

Multi-Axis and Multi-Spindle experience a plus.

Integrate work with the Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing and Scheduling Department to ensure a smooth flow of quality products through the factory.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Must have excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation.

Familiarity with the latest technologies and equipment used in manufacturing processes Minimum 5-8 years of experience using: NX, Unigraphics and SolidWorks Software, Mastercam Knowledge of raw materials.

Knowledge of mathematics: algebra, geometry, calculus and geometry Team leading ability Good problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage one’s time and time of the team.

Ability to detect problems.

Background of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
