Responsibilities

Raise vouchers related to banking products such as Loan, Treasury, IRS SWAP, Deposit, Foreign Remittance, Trade Financing, and other new or future products.

Check and verify vouchers/input monitors in the SMILE core banking system.

Input SMILE entries submitted by General Account and Admin Department.

Prepare SWIFT MT/MX vouchers for customer remittances, loan drawdowns, Money Market Funding, IRS SWAP, and other transactions.

Prepare reports related to Labuan operations for local management, head office, and regulatory submissions.

Prepare monthly customer account statements.

Conduct sanctions screening for third-party vendors and trade finance transactions.

Prepare and review department standard operating procedures in accordance with parent bank, global policies, and standards.

Requirements

A recognized Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Information Technology, or equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.

Preferably 1–2 years of relevant working experience in a bank. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Good knowledge and experience in compliance and sanction matters related to banking operations will be an added advantage.

Sound understanding of operational workflows in trade finance, credit/loan processing, account servicing, and treasury product settlement is an advantage.

Proficient in MS Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English. Additional language proficiency is a plus.

Good interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality.

Adaptive to new environments and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Willing to multitask and handle responsibilities beyond routine tasks.
