What is the position?
The AutoCAD Drawing Data Analyst will focus on consolidating engineering drawings into a centralized Master Drawing Library. As part of an enterprise-wide digital transformation project, this role offers the opportunity to lead key efforts in data analysis, quality assurance, and migration strategy, driving results across Agile, cross-functional teams.
What are the responsibilities?
As an AutoCAD Drawing Data Analyst, you will:
Lead drawing migration workflows using AutoCAD tools, Excel macros, and OpenText
Establish and track KPIs to ensure data accuracy, progress transparency, and timely delivery
Mentor a small team while coordinating day-to-day data cleanup and classification activities
Manage the integrity and consistency of metadata throughout the migration lifecycle
Communicate updates and roadblocks to stakeholders with clarity and accountability
Contribute to continuous improvement in digital drawing standards and data processes
What are the requirements?
Drafting experience in the Oil and Gas industry
Strong background in technical drawing interpretation
Experience with AutoCAD, OpenText, Excel (including macros), and Power Apps
Skilled in data analytics, QA/QC verification, and metadata classification
Proven ability to lead initiatives and support teams through Agile methodologies
Excellent organizational and communication skills to support project visibility and outcomes
Familiarity with document management platforms such as DvTDM and SharePoint
