Job Description
Noble Physicians is currently seeking licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) and Psych Physician Associates with experience in mental health counseling or other related fields to provide treatment for adults aged 18 years and older with a variety of emotional and behavioral issues such as:
Depression
Substance Abuse/Dependence
Anxiety Disorders
Bipolar Disorder
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Psychosis
Dual Diagnosis
Adjustment Disorder
Essential Functions:
Perform routine comprehensive History and Physical exam / Psychiatric evaluations.
Assess and treat substance abuse, dependence, withdrawal using pharmacological and psycho-social interventions.
Medication Management
Seek consultation and/or refer patient for complex medical/psychiatric problems.
Provide Behavioral Management strategies and consultative support services
Maintain a positive therapeutic relationship with patients at all times.
Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
Cooperate with all members of the patient’s treatment team and staff.
Receptive to feedback from coworkers, staff and patients and respond in a professional manner.
Considers patient welfare and satisfaction in all clinical decisions.
Demonstrates awareness and respect for patient boundaries.
Performs other work-related activities as assigned.
Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Hold an active Washington state license or willing to secure Washington license
Hold an active DEA license
Familiarity with community mental health resources
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build rapport with clients.
Strong leadership qualities
