ChampionX is seeking an experienced Production Operator located in Aberdeen. The Production Operator will be responsible for the operation of production equipment to decant chemicals into various containers and the operation of forklift trucks to stage and load chemical containers on site.

What You Will Do:

Safely move and store chemicals on site in accordance with handling procedures

Operate decanting processes to transfer chemicals between containers and vessels

Perform blending operations, including charging raw materials to vessels and mixing to specification

Load and unload vehicles and road tankers using a counterbalance forklift

Label and package chemicals in compliance with international standards

Collect and provide chemical samples for Quality Control analysis

Adhere to all company regulations and safety procedures at all times

Communicate effectively with colleagues and personnel across all levels of the organisation

Follow documented quality procedures for all plant operations and activities

Accurately complete, record, and save required documentation

Ensure all plant equipment is maintained in good working order and available for use

Perform routine maintenance checks and report any issues promptly

Support accurate material requirement planning by providing timely and relevant information

Assist administration staff in maintaining up-to-date SAP records

Minimum Qualifications:

B1 Forklift Certificate

Dangerous Goods Awareness

Computer literate in MS Office and Excel

Effective spoken communicator to both individuals and groups

Experience of team working

A flexible approach to working and ability to work with others to achieve objectives

Physical Demands:

This position is based in a chemical manufacturing facility.

The role involves 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) on a rotating two-week schedule.

Weekend work is required every other week.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a chemical processing or handling environment

IMDG Certification

ADR Certification

COSHH training or familiarity with hazardous substance handling regulations

B3 Forklift Certificate

Certifications:

Forklift Certificate (B1 – B3)
