Database Engineer

Experience: • 4+Years

Work Experience and Skills required:

• Strong hands-on experience with Cassandra, MongoDB, and SQL databases (e.g., MySQL,

PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server).

• Expertise in database replication strategies, including active-active and active-passive

configurations.

• Experience with NoSQL and distributed database architecture.

• Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Python, or Shell scripting).

• Knowledge of on-prem/cloud database services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible is a plus.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for database performance tuning.

• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

• Exposure to containerized databases in Kubernetes environments.

• Certification in database technologies or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Database – Specialty, MongoDB Certified DBA)
