Accomplished Security Inc. (ASI) is seeking an exceptional professional to fill a dynamic Reception & Security Concierge position at our prestigious NYC client site. This is not your typical front desk or security post — it’s a fast-paced, hospitality-driven role where excellence in customer service, time management, and communication are essential.

Full-Time Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Contracted through December 31, 2025

Shifts/schedules are subject to change per operational needs and when the client facility will be closed to observe holidays

As a reception/security professional, your primary responsibilities will include:

Greet and direct employees and visitors with warmth and professionalism

Control access to the floor and monitor the space for safety and security

Maintain inventory and restock kitchen & bathroom supplies

Manage mail and packages, ensuring timely routing to appropriate personnel

Operate security and safety systems (including CCTV and access control)

Monitor, report, and respond to any incidents or emergencies

Maintain and track inventory in Excel or similar tools

Perform other concierge-style and administrative duties as needed

Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

As a Receptionist/Security Guard for Accomplished Security Inc, you will be responsible for securing and safeguarding our client’s employees and property. You’ll be the first face employees and guests see when they arrive. Your day-to-day will include reception, security oversight, concierge-style support, and facility organization. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in presentation, is highly reliable, and understands that "on time" means ready to go at 8:00 AM sharp — lights on, desk ready, site prepped.

You’ll work closely with the on-site Office Lead and will report directly to her. This role requires self-discipline, a proactive mindset, and someone who is equally comfortable managing the coffee pod inventory as they are handling building access issues.

You are also required as an ASI Receptionist/Security Guard to know all policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Licensing requirements – Possess a valid New York State Security Guard Card and be personally responsible to maintain its validity throughout your employment with AIS

CPR/AED/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) and be responsible to maintain its validity throughout your employment with ASI

Be at least 18 years of age

Timeliness is critical – must be fully set up and ready by 8:00 AM

1–2 years of front desk, security, or hospitality experience preferred

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to learn to operate the client’s security and safety systems which include but are not limited to access control systems and CCTV networks

Possess effective written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with the general public and all levels of the client’s personnel in a polite, professional and effective manner

As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

Possess or have access to a reliable means of transportation to work

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong customer service mindset

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, climb stairs occasionally, and stand for extended periods

Salary Description

$30 an hour
