Position: VDC Project Manager
Reports to: Director of VDC
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000

Superior is looking for a highly motivated and organized VDC Project Manager to join our fast-paced team. This position will work on several innovative and exciting projects in a variety of market sectors including data centers, higher education, healthcare, enterprise, and industrial projects. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
Lead BIM project teams (modelers, VDC coordinators/designers, and BIM managers), providing clear guidance on scope, deliverables, and timelines
Own all BIM project deliverables per contract, including 2D layouts, 3D coordinated models, prefabrication sheets, and install drawings
Ensure high-quality BIM output and compliance with the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout
Manage project finances, including budget tracking, cost control, and change orders
Chair project meetings and provide regular updates to customers
Review estimates, design drawings, specifications, and BIM execution plans
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Project Operations, and Field teams to ensure alignment
Uphold and evolve departmental BIM standards
Build client trust through responsive communication, strong collaboration, and proactive problem-solving

Your Expertise
You've earned your associate's degree or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or construction management, or other related fields.
You have 3+ years of experience in VDC/BIM, including Bluebeam, Navisworks, Revit, and shop drawings.
You have 5+ years of experience in commercial project management or construction management.
You have 7+ years of experience working as a consulting electrical engineer/designer, field electrician, or other related fields.
