Required Information

1 Role : QA Automation Lead

2 Required Technical Skill Set: Selenium, Java, Databases

3 Good to have Technical Skill Set :API test automation

4 Desired Experience Range:7-10 years

5 Location of Requirement :Pune/Chennai

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Candidate must have good expertise in Selenium, Java and Databases.

2 Candidate should have more than 7 - 10 years of experience in automation testing using Selenium and Java.

3 Candidate must have good expertise in using automation test framework and should be a Java expert.

4 Experience in using tools such as Maven, Eclipse/ IntelliJ, Jira, Insomnia/ Postman, SQL Developer etc.

5 Candidate must have good expertise in setting up CICD pipeline and experience in git and git branching strategies.

6 Designing, implementing and stabilizing automation tests and taking corrective actions.

7 Participate in defining scope, methodologies and tooling for Quality Engineering practices

8 Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.

9 Develop automated tests and test cases to ensure good test coverage of the features/user stories.

10 Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities for in-sprint, regression and release testing.Be an advocate for shift-left and automation first approach.

11 Design, develop and execute automation scripts

12 Communicate with cross-functional teams (e.g. developers, business systems analyst and product manager) to identify, clarify product requirements.

13 Participate in scrum and agile ceremonies.

14 Work closely with team leaders and architects to discuss, design and implement quality processes and practices.

15 Be an advocate for shift-left and automation first approach.
