NCQA is hiring a Senior Analyst for the Quality Operations & Audit program. The position is responsible for the continuous advancement of department and unit-level audit programs. This role involves data-driven analysis and driving operational efficiency to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance within Product and Customer Operations (PCO). Develops and utilizes resources to embed quality into operational processes. Analyzes audit and operational data to identify risk and prioritize ongoing quality improvement efforts across the department.

Responsibilities

Audit Program and Quality Improvement:

Lead the design and execution of digital audit frameworks, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and automation of audit processes.

Design, implement and continuously improve audit programs at both department and unit levels.

Support compliance by maintaining and improving quality standards and documentation.

Through audit and analytics, monitor compliance to relevant policies, procedures, standards and enterprise risk management program.

Analyze audit results, operational performance, and operational data to identify root causes and recommend process enhancements.

Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, improvement initiatives and performance metrics.

Provide training and support to staff on audit procedures and quality improvement practices.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular reviews and updates to audit program and processes.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational processes and workflows.

Work closely with department heads and unit managers to align audit programs with organizational goals. Ensure the implementation of priority quality improvement initiatives, including establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)

Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or other CQI methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives that align with strategic objectives.

Monitor performance metrics to track quality trends and effectiveness of improvement initiatives.

Data visualizations and process map development. Responsible for creating visual stories to enhance leadership decision-making, improve internal

understanding and facilitate an improved customer experience.

ARO leaders regularly

Collaborate cross functionally to develop and implement quality improvement actions based on data driven results.

Partner with analytics and IT teams to integrate digital tools and dashboards that enhance transparency and decision making.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Quality Management or related fields.

5+ years of or a combination of education and experience in quality assurance, quality improvement, or operational excellence, preferably in a regulated industry.

Proven experience in implementing digital quality audit solutions and CQI methodologies.

Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat skills, Smartsheets.

Demonstrated project management skills.

Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.

Flexibility, adaptability.

Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and change management skills, including spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.

Excellent organizational skills. Must be able to coordinate activities for multiple concurrent improvement projects and audits.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (PowerBI, MicroStrategy)

Compensation & Benefits:

For new hires, this position pays in the range of $80K - $90K per year, depending on experience.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus, payable in accordance with policy.
