AVP, QA - Securities Finance Technology

The Equities – Prime Services technology team is looking for a technically strong and motivated QA Engineer to join the Securities Finance technology group. This role focuses on both functional and Automation testing for the securities finance applications. You will work closely with cross-regional teams in Hong Kong, London, and New York to build and enhance foundational and functional components of the Securities Finance product suite.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality.

Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.

Experience in regression and integration testing of both front end and back end applications.

Analyze requirements and design logical test scenarios to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Required Qualifications

6-8 years experience in functional and automation testing.

Create test strategy, test plans and test cases for projects managed through Agile development Methodology.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Create detailed bugs in Jira with adequate data on the issues and collaborate with development teams to resolve the bugs.

Perform ad-hoc, negative, regression and integration testing.

Hands-on experience Hands-on experience in API automation with Cucumber, Selenium.

Strong Knowledge of Java programming language.

Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).

Experience with Jira, Bitbucket.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to financial services or trading systems is a plus.

Experience in performance testing tools – (e.g., JMeter).

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $100,000 - $160,000.
