Task Order Project Manager

Key Responsibilities/What you do
Serve as the accountable authority for all aspects of Task Order execution.
Manage day-to-day operational activities of the overseas program.
Oversee resource allocation, staffing, and field operations across task order locations.
Ensure compliance with all technical, financial, and contractual requirements.
Lead communication and coordination with Contracting Officer (KO), COR, and Government stakeholders.
Maintain program-level oversight of linguist performance, morale, and deployment readiness.
Direct GFE (Government Furnished Equipment) accountability and oversee response to Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) taskings.
Facilitate management processes and business systems to support performance outcomes.
Supervise and mentor Area Managers and other non-linguist management personnel.
Qualifications
Required,
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
OR
A 20-year military career (retired at the E8 level or above) combined with an active PMP certification or DAWIA Level III Project Management certification
A minimum of 15 years of overall management experience
At least 10 years of supervisory experience within the past 15 years
Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with senior military officials, managers, and operational staff
Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance

You’ve led major programs overseas, especially in places covering the CENTCOM and AFRICOM AOR.
You know how to manage linguist programs, vetting pipelines, and government systems like SPOT, TASS, and CMR.
You’ve worked in high-tempo environments, navigating the complexity of OCONUS logistics, staffing, and compliance.
You know what it means to lead in a deployed setting — not just manage tasks, but build morale and drive results under pressure.
You’re confident in interfacing with O-6-level military personnel and navigating interagency coordination.
Background in Special Operations or linguist operations? That’s a big plus.
