The SULA Program within the College of Visual and Performing Arts seeks a Part-Time Instructor to teach CAR 415.2 Animation and Culture, a three-credit hour course, during the Fall semester, 2025. This course is offered as part of the VPA LA Semester.

This course will teach students to explore the history of animation and its cultural implications. The course will look at how animation both reflects the global society and how animation conversely impacts society and culture. The course will explore the power of animation as a storytelling medium and how it has evolved in reaching new and broader/global audiences.
