We are currently seeking an experienced Senior BAS Installer to join our Controls Division. This role is ideal for a hands-on, self-sufficient professional with a strong background in HVAC systems, BAS wiring and installations, and on-site crew leadership. As a Senior BAS Installer, you will be responsible for leading field installations of building automation systems, managing materials and crews, and ensuring projects are completed on time and according to specifications.Key Responsibilities

Perform installations of building automation systems, including wiring, sensor placement, and device mounting.

Interpret design documents and mechanical drawings to accurately install sensors and control devices for HVAC, VRF, DOAS, and hydronic systems (e.g., cooling towers, open/closed loops).

Confidently wire and integrate VRF systems and associated sensor packages.

Complete network cable pulls and terminations for BAS controllers and devices.

Generate accurate parts lists based on scope of work and installation plans.

Lead and manage site crews, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality control.

Provide on-site mentorship and training for junior installers and technicians.

Independently identify field issues and propose effective solutions to management.

Accurately bend conduit and perform high-quality low-voltage electrical installations.

Maintain accurate as-built documentation and coordinate with programmers and project managers.Qualifications

3-4 years of experience in the Building Automation field with a focus on field installation.

Deep understanding of HVAC system functionality and required sensors for various system types (e.g., VAV, VRF, DOAS, hydronic).

Strong knowledge of VRF system wiring, DOAS equipment, and sensor selection.

Experience pulling and terminating BAS communication networks.

Proven ability to develop material lists and plan daily tasks around available resources.

Hands-on conduit bending and low-voltage wiring experience.

Strong troubleshooting abilities and a self-starting attitude.

Excellent print reading and interpretation of wiring diagrams and schematics.

Team-oriented with the ability to lead, train, and support fellow crew members.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong foundation in low-voltage theory and control logic installation best practices.Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $55,000 - $60,000/year, depending on experience and skill level.
