Responsibilities:
Conduct 46B and Chapter 55 competency evaluations
Perform violence risk assessments under 46C
Coordinate forensic psychological activities and programs
Oversee competency restoration and trial competency evaluation
Supervise and train psychology trainees
Essential Job Functions:
Provide consultation and training on forensic evaluations
Design and coordinate forensic activities
Offer specialized forensic psychological services
Provide recovery-focused care and support peer support concepts
Deliver expert testimony in legal proceedings
Requirements:
Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution
Licensure as a Psychologist in Texas or reciprocity state
1 year of supervised experience in psychological services
1 year of experience in forensic evaluations and psychotherapy
