Professionally welcome and check in all patients and guests with a positive and respectful attitude
Handle all incoming phone calls by routing them correctly and recording detailed, accurate messages
Confirm insurance coverage and gather required documentation, forms, and patient identification
Arrange, update, and verify appointments for equipment pick-ups, consultations, or fittings
Process referrals and maintain clear communication between providers and insurance agencies
Accurately maintain patient records while following HIPAA regulations and office guidelines
Carry out daily administrative tasks including document scanning, faxing, and filing
Oversee DME order tracking, assist with coordinating deliveries, and help manage inventory supplies
Collect and document patient payments, providing correct receipts and financial logs
Support the billing department through insurance follow-up, claim updates, and entry of data
Keep the front desk and lobby areas clean, orderly, and fully stocked throughout the shift
