Job Summary:

The Philanthropy Officer, Graphic Design & Communications plays a key role in bringing Care New England's philanthropic vision to life through impactful visual storytelling. From concept to execution, this creative professional designs print and digital materials that inspire generosity and deepen donor engagement. Whether crafting compelling campaign visuals, event collateral, or social media content, this role ensures every piece reflects the heart of our mission. Working in close collaboration with the Strategic Growth and Communications team, the Philanthropy Officer ensures brand consistency while amplifying fundraising initiatives across the system.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office.

Strong branding, typography, and layout skills.

Knowledge of social media strategy and digital marketing.

Print production experience and vendor coordination.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to work both independently and in collaborative environments.

Shape and uphold a compelling visual identity for CNE Philanthropy, ensuring every design reflects our brand and mission.

Bring events to life through creative collateral-design everything from eye-catching invitations and signage to engaging sponsorship packages, presentations, and social media visuals.

Collaborate with Marketing to plan, design, and schedule digital content that elevates our philanthropic message across social platforms.

Craft impactful print and digital materials for donor appeals, campaign initiatives, stewardship pieces, and foundation proposals.

Enhance communications through thoughtful design support for newsletters, donor recognition pieces, case statements, and internal publications.

Oversee print production processes, working closely with vendors to deliver high-quality materials on time and within budget.

Curate and source compelling photography and visual assets that help tell the stories behind our mission.

Work collaboratively across departments to creatively communicate fundraising priorities and donor impact.

Assist in the development of service line marketing pieces and key publications across the system.

Lead the production and management of photo and video assets; maintain an organized and accessible image library.

Align design initiatives with CNE's strategic growth plan, ensuring projects stay on track and on message.

Proactively communicate project timelines, priorities, and challenges to leadership.

Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality in handling sensitive organizational information.

Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and mission.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Communications, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, marketing, or communications, preferably in a nonprofit or healthcare setting.
