Job Title: Power BI Developer

Location-Type: Hybrid Onsite (Houston Locals Only)

Start Date Is: Immediate

Duration: 6 Months (contract)

Compensation Range: $45.99/hr – $60/hour

Job Description:

Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions to support strategic business insights in a large-scale corporate environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights

Create and manage data models integrating various data sources

Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy

Implement governance and security best practices, including row-level security

Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, and data flows

Present findings and updates to directors and stakeholders

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

4 years of Power BI development experience

Proficiency in DAX and Power Query

Strong data modeling and integration skills (Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint)

Performance tuning and optimization in Power BI

Experience with governance, security standards, and workspace management

Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Nice-to-Haves:

Background in data architecture and data warehousing

Familiarity with SQL and API integrations

DevOps experience (Azure DevOps, Jira)

Knowledge of Power Platform CoE and Power Automate

Hybrid remote
