They're now hiring a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to take the lead on firmware design across flight systems and ground operations - critical work that directly impacts mission performance and real-world impact. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role in a fast-paced aerospace environment where innovation and collaboration are at the core.
What you'll be doing:
Leading firmware development across satellite vehicle systems and test infrastructure
Designing and implementing embedded software in C/C++ and Verilog/SystemVerilog
Collaborating cross-functionally with hardware, systems, and scientific teams
Building and executing robust test plans to ensure flight-readiness
Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical direction What we're looking for:
8+ years in embedded firmware (ideally aerospace or high-reliability systems)
Strong skills in C/C++, with FPGA development (Verilog) a big plus
Experience with real-time control systems, Linux system programming, and TI microcontrollers (C2000, MSP430)
Confident in CI/CD environments, version control, and documentation
US citizenship or permanent residency required due to project scope
Location Options:
Louisville, CO or Seattle, WA (with some travel between sites during integration)
Salary Range: $155,000-$195,000 depending on experience
