Job Description

$18 - $30 hourlyResponsibilities:

Get feedback from the client and construction managers and revise designs as needed

Choose the best material for modeling by researching material properties in large databases

Work with construction team members to establish a timeline and budget for the design

Meet with clients during the beginning of the project to get project specifications and scope

Use design software to produce 2D and/or 3D designs, depending on the complexity of the projectQualifications:

Possess a firm grasp on the industry as a whole and stay up-to-date on evolving trends in architectural technologies

Extensive knowledge of architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, AutoDesk BIM, Solidworks, 3DS Max, Chief Architect Premier: Construction Drawings, SketchUp, and Lumion

2-year degree or equivalent experience in architecture, design, construction engineering, or related field is desired

Minimum 2 years of work experience in architectural design

Highly attuned to detail and possess excellent teamwork, organizational, and communication skills

Minimum 2 years of CAD drafting and detailing experienceAbout Company
