Apex is proud to partner with one of their premier clients in search of Machine Operators in Howe, Indiana. Our client provides great on the job training ?- we're looking with someone with a great attitude and a desire to learn and we'll provide the rest!

3rd shift opportunity - Sunday to Thursday from 6pm to 4am

Contract-to-hire positions - you'll be hired on with our client based on performance, attendance and client needs

What your day will look like:

Set up and operate machinery in accordance with established specifications and work instructions.

Continuously monitor machine performance to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.

Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to optimize performance and output.

Inspect finished products to verify they meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Detect, document, and report any defects or irregularities in machinery or finished goods.

Promptly report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities and any issues encountered.

Assist in the training and onboarding of new machine operators as needed.

Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Support inventory efforts during scheduled bi-annual plant counts.

What we are looking for:

2+ years of experience as a Machine Operator

Solid understanding of machine operation and maintenance procedures

Forklift experience preferred
