GPS is currently hiring 3rd Shift Chemical Process Operators for immediate positions in Columbia, SC.

Operate and monitor equipment to control chemical processes

Adjust controls to regulate temp, pressure, flow, and material quantities

Monitor gauges, instruments, and products to ensure proper conditions

Prepare products for shipping, including packaging, labeling, and loading

Inspect equipment and monitor operating conditions

Measure, weigh, and mix chemical ingredients

Draw product samples for analysis

Load and unload bulk materials

Document operational data What is needed:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Prior experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing setting; chemical manufacturing experience preferred

Skills:

Basic written and verbal communication

Ability to record detailed data

Basic math skills

Forklift operation experience

Must be able to work in an open-air industrial environment Drug-free workplace and criminal background check required. EOE
