The Automation & Digitalization Support Engineer is accountable for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of all automation and digitalization systems within the plant, including hardware and software platforms, IT/OT infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, PLC & SCADA systems, LineView programs, and advanced automated equipment such as inspection systems and industrial coders. Ensuring strict adherence to corporate design standards and applicable regulatory mandates during installations, while also driving strategic initiatives for the efficient deployment of water and wastewater treatment solutions. This role is responsible for setting and managing project timelines, monitoring construction-phase financial performance, and guaranteeing that all project objectives, milestones, and compliance requirements are successfully met.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and review designs for the installations of automation facilities and systems
Over-all control on the project schedule pertaining to installations automation facilities and systems
Conducting site visits to inspect work and ensure contractors are following safety & health guidelines
Collaboration with different OEM vendors with multiple countries to work with
Communicate with stakeholders
Equipment installation risks with a lot people to manage and ensure following safety guidelines
Communication failure with different OEM vendors to collaborate with
Define strategies to address issues and concerns on the execution of the project
Evaluate construction/installation designs of the project
Manage internal and external stakeholders of the project
The role ensures that what was planned strategically will be executed on a daily basis thru operational planning and project management
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering
Robust experience in the installation automation and digitalization facilities and systems
Excellent in written and verbal communication skills
Preferred to have greenfield project experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in automation facility installations
Project Management Certification
Preferably a Licensed Electronics & Communications Engineer
