Sales Support Specialist

An international manufacturing company is looking to hire a full-time Sales Support Specialist for their Houston, TX office. This role supports sales efforts such as preparing quotes, setting appointments, contacting customers, monitoring sales volumes, establishing sales trends, and analyzing trends. The Sales Support Specialist also provides administrative support to Business Development Managers (BDM).

Duties include:

Providing office and administrative support for both BDM and local branch

Scheduling and confirming appointments, meetings, and follow-ups for BDMs

Maintaining and updating CRM systems and calendars with accurate customer and activity information

Preparing and distributing sales-related reports (weekly, monthly, and ad hoc)

Assisting in the preparation of proposals, quotes, presentations, and client communications

Tracking customer interactions and ensuring timely follow-up on action items

Coordinating travel arrangements and meeting logistics for the BDM team Our client is looking for a proactive and resourceful professional. Must be outgoing, customer-focused and able to interact with team members in a collaborative manner.

Industrial B2B experience strongly preferred

Strong team player with a customer-first mindset

Superb organizational and time-management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM tools

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Comfortable stepping into a hands-on warehouse support role when needed

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
