Position Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager with proven experience managing large-scale electrical infrastructure projects within data centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical contracting, a deep understanding of mission-critical environments, and a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

This is a high-impact leadership role with a focus on operational excellence, client satisfaction, and project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large electrical projects in hyperscale or enterprise data centers.

Manage all phases of project life cycle: budgeting, scheduling, procurement, risk management, and reporting.

Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure electrical scope is clearly defined and executed.

Oversee subcontractors and field operations to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Track project milestones and proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, alignment of goals, and issue resolution.

Manage change orders, project documentation, cost controls, and billing in collaboration with the project controls team.

Support pre-construction efforts, including estimates, design reviews, and value engineering.

Mentor junior project managers and project engineers to promote internal growth and performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

10+ years of electrical project management experience, with 5+ years specifically managing large-scale data center projects.

In-depth knowledge of power distribution systems, generators, UPS, grounding, and redundancy requirements in mission-critical environments.

Experience working for an electrical contractor or general contractor on $50M+ projects preferred.

Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, large teams, and complex schedules.

Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD).

Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

PMP certification is a plus but not required.
