Qualifications:
Required:
U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria include, but are not limited to:
3-year check for felony convictions
1-year check for illegal drug use
1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud
Team player and able to work in a collaborative team environment
Must have:
Working knowledge and understanding of fundamental concepts of Functional testing, Smoke testing, Regression testing, and Continuous Integration
Experience with mobile testing on Android simulators and physical devices
Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger
Experience with web application testing across multiple browsers
Experience documenting defects, tracking defects, re-testing fixes, and documenting the progress in Jira or similar system
College degree (B.S. or greater) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Experience accepted in lieu of degree
Hands on experience:
Seven (7) years or more in an IT related field with 2-3 or more years analyzing, designing, and implementing software test solutions
Testing applications deployed to Android mobile devices, tracking test execution, and reporting artifacts
SQL CRUD script development experience against Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
Applying estimation techniques to manual test script efforts and test script development/maintenance efforts
Interacting with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Product Architects, Developers, and Technical Writers, and providing guidance on testing methods to meet project specific needs
Familiar working within a continuous integration environment and supporting tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitLab, AWS, Postman
Desired:
Familiarity with Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK)
Familiarity with Android automation testing using Appium or Espresso
Familiarity with web application automation testing using Selenium, Robot Framework, etc.
Working knowledge of version control tools such as git
Familiarity with performance testing using JMeter
Familiarity with 508 accessibility testing using ANDI
Familiarity with iOS mobile testing
Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $103,800 - $218,100
