FULL TIME SYSTEM ANALYST

SALARY: $95,500 per annum + Superannuation

We are seeking an experienced System Analyst with strong ERP system experience (ideally Dynamics GP) to join our IT Department based at our Head Office in Derrimut, VIC. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting, analysing, and improving our ERP systems and business processes across all departments. This role combines hands-on technical support with strategic project involvement and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on business operations.

The ERP Support Analyst involves assisting with business system queries from all

departments within the company, thus ensuring smooth day to day running of

Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) as well as backend support via SQL. All user

queries are initialised using the help desk ticketing system by users and the support

ticket maintained via Microsoft Teams/Planner.

This position also requires engagement in business projects that affect the use of Great Plains or its database. The work normally involves middleware development, maintenance, or modification to provide resolution pieces to an overall project.

DUTIES

• Provide functional and technical support for Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains).

• Maintain ERP system performance, access rights, security configurations, and company settings.

• Lead and support ERP upgrades and ensure compatibility across systems.

• Develop and enhance SQL-based reports, stored procedures, and SSIS packages.

• Work closely with stakeholders to analyse business requirements and propose effective system solutions.

• Deliver system documentation, end-user training, and post-implementation support.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on middleware integrations and data-related projects.

• To provide support in report writing and obtaining data extracts for all departments across the business.

• Aid where possible on other integrations e.g., SmartConnect, Integration Manager, etc.

• Support and maintenance of previously delivered business project applications.

• Participate in the after-hours support roster and apply critical updates as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Minimum 3 years of experience in system analysis and ERP support (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar platforms). Also requires:

• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL, SSIS, and report development.

• Experience with SmartConnect, Integration Manager, or other ERP middleware tools.

• Strong understanding of financial modules (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, etc.).

• Demonstrated ability to manage system upgrades and integrations with minimal downtime.

• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
