Caregiver Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Caregiver to provide excellent care for a Disabled Veteran. You will travel to the client’s home to provide personalized care. Job duties include helping them to bathe, go to the bathroom, prepare and eat meals, get dressed, light housekeeping, and providing general companionship. For some clients, you will also transport them to appointments and remind them to take medications. Our primary goal is to improve the daily lives of our clients..

Caregiver Duties and Responsibilities

Work with a variety of clients, such as the physically disabled, cognitively impaired, chronically ill, and elderly

Cook, dress, bathe, and assist clients in using the restroom

Picking up heavy objects and performing housekeeping tasks

Remind clients to take medication

Transport clients to appointments or outings

Caregiver Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience as a caregiver a plus

Attend training and pass a standardized exam

Knowledgeable in basic emergency and safety techniques

Be in good physical condition

Reliable transportation
