Duties:

Create electrical drawings, advance bills of material, and other engineering documents for projects as assigned, based on project documents and standards

Make job site visits to get field information, as assigned

Work on projects at the direction of the Operations Engineer and/or VP of Engineering

Assist Sales and Estimating as needed with design plans

Work with Engineers and technicians to solve problems when errors are made in the drafting room and in the shop

Assist Project Managers

Responsible for maintaining all documentation pertaining to the electrical drawing of their projects and saving the documents in the Engineering job folder

Work with Senior Automation Technicians and Engineers to develop electrical schematics

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred enrollment in a two or four-year accredited design and drafting program.

Strong organizational, attention for detail, verbal, interpersonal, and time-management skills

Preferred proficient in AutoCAD, Visio, or other CAD software

Proficient in Microsoft excel
