CLASS 1 DRIVER AM/PM

FRIDAY - TUESDAY: PM OR SUN - THURS AM (DRIVER'S ARE REQUIRED TO BE FLEXIBLE DUE TO SHIFT PATTERNS)

PAY RATE: £17.38 - £29.38 PER HOUR

Rates of Pay

17.38 Mon - Thurs AM

£22.91 Sunday days

£23.83ph- Sunday - Tuesday PM

£26.38ph Friday PM

£29.38ph - Saturday PM

Day to Day Duties

Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently

Complete 2-4 store deliveries/ Trunking per shift

Ensuring all loads are safe and secure

Collections of recycling from depots may be required

Carry out vehicle inspections and report any faults to management

Ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner

Communicate any issues / delays effectively

Abide by all working time rules and regulations

Trunking work may also be required (mostly on PM shifts)

Essential Skills

Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence

At least two year's experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver

Hold a valid CPC and digital tachograph card

No more than six points for MINOR offences (No IN10, DR10, DD10)

Good customer service and communication skills

Desirable Experience

Experience with store deliveries would be an advantage

Training

Must pass a one-hour company assessment both written and physical

If passed you will undergo a two-day paid company induction

You will have shadow shifts for your first week
