MAIN PUROPOSE
We are looking for a Accounting Assistant - Retail Finance Back Office (RFBO) to supporting retail operation for boutique business, including project implementation and support to stakeholders to ensure all the requirements are met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations
Process daily retail operation and able to give advice when there is any problem raising from the boutique
Perform timely and accurate receipt posting/clearing
Coordinate with related stakeholders i.e. Bank, Boutique staff, Internal requestor to solve daily receiving issues
Manage the training to boutique staff over any related to RFBO activities i.e. retail operation workflow, implement any new project
Prepare month-end closing tasks which related to own responsibility areas for Finance Manager in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines
Ensure compliance to group policies, procedures and anti-money laundering rules being adhere by law and regulator’s requirement
Review and check completeness that all the control which related to daily retail operation has been put in place
Reporting
Review boutique daily sales documentation and day-end report
Provide weekly updates and reporting under own responsibility areas
Generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of monthly/quarterly report for management
Project and others
Accountable to coordinate and implement all the up-coming projects which related to RFBO activities
Participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations, accounting processes and controls
Support other ad-hoc tasks that maybe delegated
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
5+ years of working experience in accounting field, preferably at least 2-3 years in RFBO/AR experience. Having 2-3 years audit experience would be an advantage
Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail with a high degree in accuracy
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural team
Comfortable to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
Good command in English, both written and spoken
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
Knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage
