ROLE #2 - IT DATA ANALYST

The IT Data Analyst will support data analytics and reporting for the DOE, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across platforms and
systems. This role involves assisting in the creation, maintenance, and management of key metrics for senior leadership and other
DOE stakeholders by leveraging various large data systems.
Key duties include:
Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate comprehensive executive summary reports that highlight key metrics and recommendations
based on data analysis. Generate specific compliance reports ensuring all data and attributes are accurately presented via normalized
data. Ensure all project-related data is accurately reconciled and made available to DOE systems for consumption.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with key stakeholders to perform data analysis and ensure data accuracy and
integrity across all platforms ingesting DIIT infrastructure data.
• Process Improvement: Assist in developing and implementing strategies for improving data analysis processes. Automate
any regularly required canned reports.
• Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the integrity and reliability of
data. Identify and resolve data discrepancies.
• Data Documentation: Document data sources, methodologies, and analysis processes to ensure transparency and
reproducibility of results.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the smooth execution of data tasks. Communicate and
collaborate with DIIT and DOE executives as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience:
o 5+ years of experience in data analytics and reporting.
o 5+ years of experience in customer service and client-facing roles.
• Skills:
o Proficiency with data analysis tools.
o Strong communication skills.
o Detail-oriented with a focus on process and quality.
