40 HOURS PER WEEK - THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE 1 OR 2 NIGHTS OUT PER WEEK

ANNUAL SALARY BETWEEN: £31,000 - £35,000

Night allowance £26.00 plus secure parking

Rates of Pay

£14.00PH - Days 5.00AM - 6.00PM

£16.00PH - After 40 Hours

£15.00PH - Nights 6.00PM - 5.00AM

Day to Day Duties

Safely operate and drive to transport goods and materials to designated locations

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of cargo while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness

Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of the truck

Collaborate with dispatchers and logistics teams to coordinate delivery schedules

Uphold a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries

Essential Skills

Proficient in commercial driving techniques and practices

Strong understanding of delivery driver responsibilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Valid UK Category C Driving Licence

Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card

Desirable Experience

Tail lift operation: one year preferred

Pump truck operation: one year preferred

Stack truck operation : one year preferred

Training

Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
