We are seeking a qualified MEP Quantity Surveyor with proven experience in extracting accurate quantities from MEP shop drawings. The candidate will work closely with engineering, BIM, and site teams to ensure all material take-offs and measurements are aligned with the latest approved drawings for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Extract accurate quantities for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems directly from approved shop drawings.

Perform detailed quantity take-offs for:

Mechanical: HVAC, ducting, chilled water, drainage, and piping systems.

Electrical: Cable trays, conduits, wiring, panels, DBs, and lighting.

Plumbing/Firefighting: Water supply, drainage, and firefighting systems (sprinklers, piping, etc.).

Validate BOQs and quantities against IFC and revised shop drawings.

Prepare and update material take-off sheets (MTOs) for procurement and site teams.

Identify discrepancies between IFC and shop drawings and report variations.

Assist in preparation of monthly valuations, interim payment certificates, and final accounts.

Support in cost estimation, procurement planning, and variation claims related to MEP scope.

Coordinate with BIM/MEP coordinators and engineers to resolve quantity-related issues.

Key Requirements:

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying.

Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP quantity take-off from shop drawings (GCC experience preferred).

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and Microsoft Excel.

Strong knowledge of MEP services and construction methodology.

Experience with MEP measurement standards (e.g., POMI, SMM7, or CESMM).

High accuracy and attention to detail in quantity extraction and documentation.

Familiarity with construction project documentation, BOQs, and contract clauses.

Experience with BIM tools or Navisworks is a plus.

Knowledge of ERP/Cost management software (e.g., Candy, CCS, or Primavera).

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
