Equipment Operator - Landfill

Job Description

The position involves safely operating various heavy equipment such as excavators, landfill compactors, track hoe, articulated dump truck and dozers to manage waste disposal and site maintenance within the landfill environment. Tasks include by not limited to pushing, spreading and compacting waste, applying cover material such as soil or an alternative daily cover. It will also include monitoring waste for hazardous or unacceptable materials.
